No 'no camping' signs in carpark. It's legal to sleep in a vehicle in the ACT, provided you're not causing a disterbence and are parked in a legal spot. Stayed overnight in unrestricted time limit free parking lot dedicated to campervans and caravans. No problems. Felt like a safe area. Low road noise in the distance and the odd car passing every now and then. Water tap in corner of parking lot and public park toilets about 100m walk away. Thanks for being open and accommodating to travellers & the houseless, Canberra! Wish more states adapted this attitude.
