Description

This rest area is located on the Newell Highway 19km from West Wyalong and 86km to Forbes and is accessible to vehicles travelling in both directions. Rest areas are a place where you can stop and rest, making your journey safer and more enjoyable. You can stop at a rest area to rest and manage fatigue however they are not intended as camping sites and stays longer than 24 hours are not permitted. There are rubbish bins but no other facilities. This is a combined truck and car rest area. Please do not park in the truck parking area and ensure there is plenty of room for trucks to enter and exit the site and to park and take their mandatory rest.
