Popular spot in the day time, especially people with dogs. I've come late at night a few times and only saw a police car once pass around midnight as I was driving in; and only 1 night where another van stayed overnightat the opposite end of the carpark. Otherwise I haven't had any issues with anyone. I can't see any signs saying no camping or no overnight parking, but maybe just come late and leave after sun rise. This is one of the best spots to watch the sunrise so don't miss it.

Stayed here a couple of nights as we struggled to find dog friendly camping that's not patrolled for overnight stays. Stayed both nights no issues ... Cold outside shower is a plus and close enough to woolworths for a bathroom if super needed !!! Great swimming if you're surfing but super rocky for bare feet... All in all a win :)

Stayed there back in April. Got there around 5pm- cops didn't care that we were clearly sleeping there, few others vans around camping too! Teenagers there chilling til late but pretty calm. Good spot further down the road called "bush rangers bay" which is incredible!! Free camp, can't complain
