There is a no camping sign at the entrance but I saw a few other campers in there so risked it, police rocked up at about 9 to use the toilet but left shortly after, no issues at all

Cruised by 5pm midweek and parking full (except boat trailer parking). (Oh dear you have to exit the boat ramp to enter the Bayview reserve. ) Nevertheless it was Worth the drive around to mccarrs ck rd church Pt reserve... as more expansive and much quieter.

We stayed over night on Australia Day due to unforeseen circumstances and a complete lack of any caravan parks on the northern beaches! This is a gorgeous little spot with lots of shady trees, picnic area and clean toilets. And a GREAT little park for dogs to swim in the bay. We had no problems at all - just a few rowdy kids enjoying a few beverages, and a Aussie chants during the night ; )
