Take a pic of the ranger and his vehicle. Ask for written instruction to move on. Warn ranger that RTA admonishes resting every 2 hours. Then refer him to Local Govt. Act 1993 Sect 632 (2A) (b). Council must not . . . Regulate or prohibit the taking of a vehicle . . . Parking or use of any vehicle in any public place that is a road or road related area. . . . It is a bluff and I have challenged twice (not in this area) and it has been dismissed without penalty or costs. Tell them to bugger off, in effect!

Dont be too hard on the "ranger" - only looking after the holiday parks interests !
