This lighthouse is sitting on the top of the hill on the outskirts of Byron Bay township with a great circuit walking trail that goes up and around the entire headland. Also a great place to spot whales off the headland during migration season This walk is moderate from the main Byron Bay Beach with amazing views or you can park closer and walk up! Spectacular north and south coastline views!!! $8 to park for an hour up at the lighthouse, def. worth paying, considering how hot and humid the day was to walk up the hill, it would've been a killer. Saw large pod of dolphins, manta rays and turtles feeding. Byron town was hectic and busy, we didn't stop to look, just slowly drove through as it was just a big traffic jam.

Great place to visit, beautiful setting and fabulous views, parking is limited so leave your van elsewhere
