Description
This rest area is located on the Pacific Highway (A1) 17.2km north of Kempsey and is accessible to vehicles travelling northbound.
Rest areas are a place where you can stop and rest, making your journey safer and more enjoyable, however they are not intended as overnight camping sites.
This is a combined truck and car rest area. Please do not park in the truck parking area and ensure there is room for trucks to take their mandatory rest.
Facilities include toilets and picnic tables.

Overnight stays accepted. Great little rest area.

Did stay 3rd Nov. Too tired to keep driving and needed a sleep. Toilets were very clean. Highway is right there, so it is a bit noisy, but we run the roof fan in the van and that covers it with white noise.

Kim and Martins Expedition Truck
The area for cars and caravans is very small. Big No Camping sign. Caravans can't park and it is a narrow exit. Not for overnight.
