Here for lunch - evidence of massive flood waters having passed through, with flattened metre high grass on the bend and debris caught on fence 100 metres away and at least 7 meters above current river level. Amazing.

We arrived 5pm Easter Monday. Looked like a group had been camping all weekend. Other people also staying over night or longer.

Nice spot on the river. Sign saying day use only, but several camps set up. Long drop toilet, usable but very basic. Beach area on the river is great for swimming, but unfortunately found a few pieces of glass on the ground so just be careful. Seems to be a part of the local P Platers drive loop as one came through every 30 mins or so at decent pace.
