We stopped for a picnic lunch, a bit overgrown with a few dumped cars in the car park. Plenty of room to turn around and the toilets were OK.

Sadly this rest area has been badly damaged by the floods. The toilet is closed and there is still debris from fallen trees on the grasses area. You can still park and turn around in the carpark

Great quiet spot under the bridge. Didn't stay overnight just a rest & a break and filled up with water and had lunch. Council staff came to empty bins whilst we were there. Very friendly. Grass recently mowed and a few locals enjoying a picnic by the river or fishing off jetty. Didn't look untidy at all. 4 taps around but only 1 tap had a top on it so you may need the tool to access those taps.
