Not the best quality of water. When you heading to Canberra, You can enter before the bridge but advised to have 4x4 or after, kind of sharp turn.

Access dirt road off the hwy just before bridge south bound water crossing 4x4 only to reach the graveled clearing by the river rope swing. Or take the easy way and make a hard sharp left turn after the bridge and take the dirt track down to the water. Easy in 2wd vehicles. No bins or toilets so take you rubbish with you. Water is murky so watch out for submerge objects if goin for a swim. Dog friendly but close to road way so keep an eye on your K9.
