Description
Tucked into forest behind the beach, the Pebbly Beach picnic area is equipped with barbecues and picnic tables.
Pebbly Beach picnic area is famous for its abundant population of eastern grey kangaroos.
Its a great spot to stop for a swim or for the aspiring fisherman to throw a line.
You can enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the shelters and there is plenty of grass if you would like to lay out a picnic rug. If you manage to catch a fish or two you'll be able to cook them up on the barbecues; if not, you can pick up some fresh seafood from East Lynne on the way to Pebbly Beach.
During low tide there are a couple of beautiful coastal walks you can explore - either wander along the rock platforms or head south along the sand towards Depot Beach. If you're feeling more adventurous you can take the track to Durras Mountain.
National Park entry fees apply.
No camping or overnight parking.

A great spot for a picnic lunch! We sat up on the grassy hill and enjoyed the view of the slopes and beach. Lots of Roos around. Beautiful view. Nice paved road down to beach access. Lovey place.

We arrived after lunch and there were ~10 tame roos around that you could cuddle. They were still around later in the afternoon.Saw a huge lizard walking next to the picnic spot in the back! And legions of parrots at the parking lot waiting for people to unwrap their food (which is strictly forbidden!). They come VERY close :)Oh - and amazing btw

Awesome spot , beach is beautiful and rock pools to explore. Wildlife everywhere , birds and lots of kangaroos who are very friendly. Well worth the $8 Park fee
