This free day use area offers toilets, drinking water and nice scenery. It is dog friendly (on lead only). Pier on far side with access to Hastings River. Wide, sealed parking area.
No camping or overnight parking allowed.

Truckin good lap
To see/swim in the river keep walking through the reserve, past the cricket oval, you find a wharf between the tree line towards the left (when you are looking at the tree line) It's beautiful down there and good swimming spot. (Bull sharks have been spotted in the river but she'll be right)!

Nice and clean area but the lights don't work the night ! Not easy to cook without light at 6pm. Lot of moustiquo too.

Quiet and very well maintained public facilities (cleanest public toilets I've seen). Many covered tables around grounds. Far side of playing field has access to river with a pier. Lovely spot to take a break.
