Residents are still as lovely as ever. But seems council has been taken over with less desirables. They put an ugly path behind the car park and some uglier signs in. Also some mean dog laws and removed the recycling bin. Locals say the ranger will blitz on and off. A shame because it just forces campers into the back streets, where they are welcomed by council-hating residents who'd still rather campers on the beach. I feel sorry for the local cafe too.

Unfortunately it seems like the party is over for this spot. We got a $300 fine for staying one night here along with 3 other vans. Ranger pointed out a small sign down the end which we didn't even see. Old retired mate actually pointed us in this direction from the next car park over so maybe he's now in cahoots with the ranger
