Tamworth lacks large vehicle parking for travelers. This driver reviver site is great for cars however larger caravaners and big rigs have little options here. We pulled up in front of the church to rest for awhile and collect mail. Further in town there is a large vehicle parking bay with ridiculously small entrance and exit on a very busy section of road. All of the larger camps suitable for our fully self contained vehicle are only open for the CMF. The large Tamworth regional playground and bicentennial park have no where for large vehicle parking. The Showgrounds are great if you need power, however why charge so much for self contained vehicles? We've moved on to Gunnedah, cheaper options, same supermarkets. We will spend our money here.
