Payne Island in the middle of Wallaga Lake has only a picnic ground and toilets now (no camping), but from 1917 to the 1960s it was home to Allawah House - a guesthouse. Then it was sold and the building moved to what's now the Big4 Wallaga Lake CP only a few clicks away, where Allawah House was repurposed in 2015 to become the Camel Rock Brewery - the first brewery ever built within a holiday park anywhere in the world!

There were black swan everywhere on the water. Stunning if you're into birds.
