Description

Kuniya Walk to Mutitjulu Waterhole 1km return - easy - allow 30-60 minutes One of the few permanent water sources around Uluru, Mutitjulu Waterhole is a place where you can sit quietly and listen to the sounds of the beginning of time. The short Kuniya walk runs from the Kuniya carpark to Mutitjulu Waterhole. The presence of water means this area is particularly lush and shady. This walk would be accessable to wheelchair with assistance. Visitors are asked to strictly stay on the marked tracks. Swimming in the waterhole is not permitted. This is a significant cultural site. You can also start the Uluru Base Loop from here. 11km - allow 3-4 hours
