Wiki users: please add your updates here to keep others informed of the current road conditions. In general the 260km of road to the border on the NT side is not well maintained and will present challenges to all vehicles but especially those who are towing as the corrugations are simply woeful for most of it unfortunately. From the border into Qld the road is better and has been mostly sealed from Hells Gate Roadhouse to Doomadgee.
