Arrived after sun had set, so no sunset on the rock. Very disappointing. Waited at Sails on the bus and completly missed the sun setting. Lights were fantastic. Food was tasteless. Service and staff were excellent.

You can only access the sunset view via the 'Star Pass' experience at $98 per person. In our opinion it was a little overpriced however, in saying that, we are still glad we did it, the food was lovely, you could have as many drinks as you wanted and it made for a lovely one off experience watching the field of light come to light at the sunset.

The dearer sunset timing is good for two things - you get to see sunset on Uluu from another angle; you get o see the "lay of the land" in daylight, before walking among the lights in the dark. The canapés were fine, the drinks weren't limited and ranged from non-alcoholic, through to beer, sparkling and white wine and red. It made for a very memorable experience. As mentioned, yes it's dearer. DO book ahead. It's only May & they're booked out a week or so in advance- so you'll need to be organised.
