Sunset was the highlight with all the orange tones changing but sunrise was definitely worth doing anyways. Try to get to the park at 5am when it opens as we did and it was already starting to get a little light when we arrived.

Spent most of the afternoon here in complete solitude and bad a beautiful silhouetted Uluru to watch peacefully as the sunset. Excellent to escape any crowds if you want that kind of view :)

While this is a great spot to watch the sunrise it is also a fabulous place later in the day. We enjoyed our lunch here and ended up staying for a cupola of hours. In all that time no one else joined us! We parked at the bottom of the coach parking area, with an unobstructed view of the rock. A really special experience.
