Description
Soak up some stunning views and look out for iconic wildlife as you meander through towering sandstone pillars, small pockets of monsoonal rainforest the paperbark-lined bank of the East Alligator River on this 2.5km walk. A highlight is a cool, shady cave.
The walk starts at a small carpark 500 m from the upstream boat ramp.
Make sure to observe all croc safety signs. Never enter the water where crocodiles are present.
Dogs are not permitted.
No camping or overnight parking allowed.

We also missed the hut as the beginning of this walk and went in reverse, however it did not matter. Great art on rocks and very cool in the cave

This is a stunning walk which is fairly easy! Make sure you start near the hut where the map is as we came out from this side. It is not well marked so we got some walking maps from the information centre before hand. It is numbered also. Section 3 was excellent with the rock art which is hiding in different areas and we decided to climb some different caves and sandstone mountains to get some more stunning views. Be sun smart as it's quite exposed.
