Chambers Pillar

Point Of Interest

5 from 1 users

The 50m high sandstone pillar is the main feature of the Chambers Pillar Historical Reserve. The pillar is impressive and towers over the plains below. It's best seen at sunset when it reflects the light to bring out the strong red and orange colours. Explore the reserve on foot and don't forget your camera. The best time to visit is during the cooler months from April to September. The road may be closed after rain. Access the park with a 4WD vehicle. Pets are not permitted.

One hell of a road in at the time we came in , One big hill lol and big it is ! too drive over , great views from the top , then down to the camp Nice spot for the night It's not a fast over night stop So take your time , lower your tyre pressure and enjoy the drive in Now to pull that van back up tomorrow mmmmmmmm. We will see lol

Just amazing and surround by other impressive monolithic rock formations

Awesome sight! There is a walk round the base to the steps which look a bit daunting but we're pretty easy to climb. And a short walk round the other way led to 2 seats where you could view the Pillar and surrounds. Very peaceful place.
