Description
Lasseter's cave is located on the banks of the Hull River. This is the site where Harold Lassiter sheltered while waiting for rescue after a failed expedition.
Camping is not permitted from the WA/NT border to Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park, apart from Docker River.

There are information signs at the carpark and entrance before the cave. Worth a 10 minute break from the drive, kids enjoyed running in the dry creek bed.

Download the Outback Way app - can read offline. Lassiter sheltered in the cave for 25 days in 1931 after his camels bolted. He then died trying to walk back to the Olgas to meet a relief party sent for him
