Description
Mamukala wetlands is a bird-lover's dream. This short 3km walk allows bird-watchers to see an astonishing variety of bird life.
The bird hide can be reached by wheelchair users. The first loop walk is unsealed but flat.
Make sure to observe all croc safety signs. Never enter the water where crocodiles are present.
Pets are not permitted.
No camping or overnight parking allowed.

Well worth seeing, just from bird hide. Teaming with birds and wallabies. Water lotus in bloom. Kakadu as we imagined it!

Great stop and a wonderful place to view NT wetlands. Easy 150m walk to the well presented enclosed viewing area
