Road was awesome..towed an off road van with a Prado. First 300km from Alice Springs direction was the worst, (certainly not bad) and still cruised along at about 60km/h no issue. Corrugations were very minimal for the rest and averaged 80km/h. I'd do it again for sure!

Did Mereenie Loop 11 May 22 - south to north, Troopy and 6m semi-off-road van. For the 60kms after Ginty's Lookout moderate corrugations, some washouts. Last 70kms mostly graded (currently working on it). Lowered tyres. If you keep an eye out for the washouts and take it easy you shouldn't have any problems.

We took this road a week ago it was mostly OK for a 4x4 and off road van we have a jayco starcraft outback and BT50 but the last 50 k into the McDonald ranges was pretty rough and bumpy and gave the van a good shake. But we made it ok.
