Begin at Yurmikmik Car Park Kakadu N P, Northern Territory
Description
This small pristine waterfall is a favourite in the tropical summer when Kakadu's larger falls tend to be inaccessible.
Surrounded by monsoon forest it remains one of Kakadu's hidden gems despite being heavily photographed and featured in travel magazines for its beauty.
Although it's a bit of a trek at 7.5 kms return visitors find it well worth the effort. A refreshing swim under the waterfall is another bonus. Head for the Yurmikmik walks to venture out to this Kakadu jewel.
Along the walk look out for wallaroos and listen for the chorus of birds.
Be Crocwise: Swimming
Ensure you observe all safety signs, and be aware that whenever you are near water in the park, there is a risk of crocs!
Kakadu has Crocodile Management Zones to minimise risk to humans. Even in these zones you should be cautious.
Crocodile warning signs and Crocodile Management Zones are not found everywhere.
Pets are not permitted.
No camping or overnight parking allowed.

45 mins there and back fairly easy walk. Boulder hoping on the last part. Had it to ourselves. Little trickle of water on rock, clear and clean water

WE ARE DONE G&B
Great place to visit 22k dirt corragueted road in and 6 k walk with few rocks to climb over at end. Best go early as open track and gets hot. Drive past Boulder creek car park and take next dirt road on right (no sign) to carpark which is 1.5k shorter walk. Very nice and scenic waterfall only a trickle. But still water there to swim. Well worth the walk.

OMG flies were next level. Take a head net. Park at closest car park (past Boulder Creek car park) to save yourself walking any further than you have to on this BORING trail. It's like walking through a giant neglected garden overgrown with weeds. See pic. At falls, walk is a little more interesting, no path have to bolder hop and duck fallen trees etc. Falls still flowing but looked a little dank for swimming. Nice spot to sit and enjoy if the freakin flies weren't so hectic!!!
