Just wow! What an epic Landscape! At the start of the walk you are on the track following the road but don't worry after 100m or so you veer left and then the beauty really begins and it just gets better and better. We spotted lots of birds and even a rock wallaby. Me and my partner started the walk at 2pm and got back at 5:15pm. I am not a quick walker and usually stop frequently to take photos. The walk is pretty cruisey most of the way however if your ankles are a bit dodgy you may struggle a bit on the first 100m and once you get into the gorge because of the large loose stones. Just a heads up there are lots of dead fish at the moment. Enjoy the incredible walk

Highly recommend the pound walk if you are in the area. The scenery was spectacular and changed throughout the entire walk. We started at midday and only took 3 hours with a few stops. We walked anticlockwise, stopping at the lookout on the way and are glad we did; by the time we got around to the gorge it was shaded and made for a beautiful walk in. You do have to rock hop and walk through water but it was only knee deep in one section (I'm 5"7). There are loads of dead fish at the moment but it didn't take away from our experience.

Great walk!! The scenery changed at least 6 times I recon - just beautiful!! Longer but easier then the King's Canyon Rim Walk we thought! The short water crossing was exciting - even if I did dunk my shoes accidentally!!! 6 of us (4 kids between 11 & 6) completed in 6 hrs with many many many stops along the way (including lunch!!)
