Description
Pine Creek Railway Station and the precinct is the most complete remaining example of infrastructure associated with the North Australian Railway (NAR). An original Beyer Peacock locomotive is on display and a former WA Government Railway TA Class diesel-electric shunting engine. In addition to the railway building with waiting rooms, there is a large goods shed and a railway employees house. Open seasonally from May to Sept.

We enjoyed our visit here and the volunteer was very helpful and opened up the historic train for us to explore. We loved seeing all the old trains and mining equipment. Great to learn about the history of the town and the surrounding area. Was very interesting even for our two kids (4 & 8).
