Description

Entry to Kakadu National Park. A Parks Pass is required to visit Kakadu Park passes are free for Northern Territory residents. Park passes are valid for 7 days by default. This can be extended to 14 days at no extra cost. Pre-purchase your pass online or pick on up at one of the following locations: Aurora Kakadu, Arnhem Highway, South Alligator Bowali Visitor Centre, Kakadu National Park, Kakadu Highway, Jabiru Cooinda Lodge, Kakadu Highway, Cooinda Humpty Doo Post Office, 340 Arnhem Hwy, Humpty Doo Katherine Visitor Centre, Stuart Highway and Lindsay Street, Katherine Mary River Wilderness Retreat, Arnhem Highway, Humpty Doo Two Rivers Newsagency, Jabiru Shopping Plaza, Jabiru Wildman Wilderness Lodge, Point Stuart Road, Mary River Youthshack Hostel, 69 Mitchell St, Darwin Pets are not permitted. No camping or overnight parking allowed.

$40 per adult for entry when the road to every waterfall is closed as well as everything but the servo in Jabiru and there's no prior warning on the website, the app you download, when you buy the park pass or even at the ranger station on entry is disgusting! A total waste of time and fuel!!!

We loved our 7 days here even today's v rough Jim Jim falls trip . The previous writer sums it up. I feel lucky to have had access to this majestic part of our country. Thanks to all involved that make this happen. Highlights Ferny Gully Maguk The 2 night stay at Mary RV Roadhouse Yellow River Cruise Mardukal and Kungarden walks Ubirr, Nourlangie And Nanguluwurr art sites inc the walks and sunset Anbangbang walk around Billabong Mirray Lookout Cahills crossing before and during high tide Visit to border store and made some purchases - art and fabric as Injilik has moved here Camping at Jim Jim Thai meal in Jabiru

What a ripoff! All the good stuff is closed. Plenty of better places to spend your hard earned in the NT. Don't bother with Kakapoo
