Did this road today towing van. Has been graded, however there are still corrugated sections that bounce the van around. No major damage but a couple of broken locks and lost piece of awning fixture. I would recommend going the sealed road, lots of dust and van full of it

Starting to deteriorate. Drove this last night in my 4WD West - East and I'd say it's about 50/50 now. Really rough patch of corrugations close to the Kings Canyon side and a few more along the way. Some brilliant stretches where I could get to 100km/hr but they didn't last long. Watch out for the soft sand in the dips too. Section around the meteorite is really good. You could still do this in an AWD no worries but might shake a 2WD to bits if you don't take it super slow.
