Great spot I took the right turn at the fork in the path and headed to the upper cascades. Great hike up thru forest and then over the top of the escarpment and down into the upper falls. Beautiful open area with stunning rocks to relax and lots of swim holes. Then continuing on down to Curtain. Falls and eventually down to the lower falls and back to the car park. This last section between upper and lower is a bit more of a scramble and there was a bit of water & mud which made it slippery in parts. Great hike and stunning waters. So clear !

We took the walking track to the upper cascades, it was a gorgeous walk, tropical and rocky. We got to the upper cascades and it was a gorgeous little Falls and nice big rocky area you could sit on. We walked down a bit towards the lower cascades and went for a swim in the first obviously big waterhole. Divine. We sat on a big rock, bathed in the sun and read a book. Recommend get there before 9 if you want some quiet time. We walked back along the water to the carpark. It was rocky. Easy to do if you have runners on and average fitness. The lower cascades looked really dark and a bit gloomy for a swim. We left that one for the crocs.

We first started by going to the lower cascades which is a moderate to easy hike that takes about 15-20 minutes, there are some slippery areas. You will get to an amazing falls and swimmable area. We actually made it to the upper cascades by climbing our way up there from the lower section which was a lot of rock hopping and climbing, we even went further up from the upper falls and saw so many swimming holes which had no people at all. There are so many different areas throughout where you can swim, maybe wear some appropriate shoes though!
