Description

Rest area just north of Alpha, with toilets, hot and cold showers, rubbish bins, drinking water, and dump point. Rest areas are a place where you can stop and rest, making your journey safer and more enjoyable. You can stop at a rest area for up to 20 hours but they are not long-term camping sites. This is a combined truck and car rest area. Please do not park in the truck parking area and ensure there is plenty of room for trucks to enter and exit the site and to park and take their mandatory rest. The best and quietest place to park is just past the large open area, along Cemetary Road, amongst the line of trees. It makes a longer walk to the toilets but it is much nicer and quieter at night.
