Description

Camping permits are required and fees apply. Book prior to arrival. A tag with your booking number must be displayed at your camp site. Located in the Eurimbula National Park, on the southern side of Pancake Creek on Bustard Head, Bustard Head camping area features boat-based camping by the water's edge. The camping area can be reached only by boat. The nearest boat ramps are located at Seventeen Seventy and Turkey Beach. Camping is unpowered in an open area with no separately defined sites. This site is suitable for tents and there are no facilities. Open fires are allowed (except when fire bans apply). Bring your own clean-milled firewood. Collection of firewood and the use of chainsaws are prohibited. Fuel or gas stoves are recommended. Generators are allowed between 8am-9pm; must have a sound rating of less than 65 decibels (2.0Kva). Mobile phone coverage is generally not available. Domestic animals are not permitted in Eurimbula National Park.
