Description

Corella is a quiet environmentally friendly camping ground and Guesthouse. The rooms include a self contained family studio with ensuite, a Standard double room sun room, a family suite of 2 bedrooms or the whole guestgouse. A scrambled egg breakfast with OJ toast and preserves is included in the price of the 2 main rooms. This breakfast is also available to campers for $15 pp or a full breakfast for $23. 8am-10am Located in the McKinley Shire, just off Flinder's Highway between Julia Creek and Richmond, we offer a retreat suitable for creative and earthy people looking for an authentic rustic outback experience. Some areas are still flood impacted. Meals are provided through our commercial kitchen. Emergency supplies, drinks and snacks can be bought. Campfire Sundowners are a featuretourist season which runs from April through to October. Meet our cow who even attends the camfire in Summer. We have a changing menu but the best Angus rump in Australia and wild caught Gulf fish are regularly avail. Vegetarian , soups, salads and other dishes eg Lasagne can be arranged with notice. 2 courses - 33 per adult We are NOT just a regular campsite, WE ARE AN EXPERIENCE. WE ARE WILDLIFE CARERS however ONLY FARM ANIMAL LOVERS will enjoy Corella. We invite you to camp & relax with a bevy under threes while Georgi cooks your dinner... then end the night with an artesian bath under the stars before bed. Check in strictly after 12 noon. 4 powered sites avail plus more unpowered sites. Camping is suitable for tents, camper trailers, caravans, motorhomes and big rigs. Most sites are NOT grassed, please ensure you have a mat or they can be hired. Facilities include drinking water and FREE artesian baths. Some areas are still flood impacted. DO NOT EXPECT DISNEYLAND OR CITY LEVEL FACILITIES - we are real, raw and authentic but welcome all to our space PETS-YES always on a leash and kept away from other animals.
