Description

The Goldsborough Valley camping area is located on the banks of the Mulgrave River and is surrounded by rainforest. Camping permits are required and fees apply. A tag with your booking number must be displayed at your camp site. This is an e-permit camping areaall camping must be booked in advance; self-registration is no longer available. Camping is only permitted in the camping area/camp site(s) you have booked. It is a shady camping area adjacent to the Mulgrave River with barbecue, fire ring and toilet facilities. The camping area can be reached by conventional vehicle with care. There are 12 numbered sites, plus a large open area (Bora Ground camp) that can accommodate five groups. Vegetated alcoves provide some separation between some sites. Open fires are allowed (except when fire bans or restrictions apply) in fire rings and barbecues only. Firewood is not provided and must not be collected from the park. Fuel stoves are recommended. Generators and pets are not permitted. Mobile phone coverage is not available.
