Description

The Goondiwindi Showgrounds is a fabulous facility that serves a multitude of purposes for the Goondiwindi region. Located only a short distance away from essential facilities including medical services, fuel, pharmacy and grocery stores, the Showground is a regular meeting place for local community groups. Used regularly for caravan rallies and large, medium and small events including the Goondiwindi Show, Campdraft, horse events, Cutting and Polocrosse. Powered and unpowered sites are available. All sites have access to water, toilet and shower amenities. 14 Day limit. Take advantage of our no booking facility. Open for travellers to simply drop in and set up camp in our designated camping area. A full time Caretaker will be available to assist with your camping needs. The toilets and showers are nice and clean with a disabled toilet/shower room. Large area and pet friendly, with dogs to be on leash at all times. The arena can be used as an off leash area if there isn't a horse event on. Communal fire pit. Shared zone, 15km speed limit. Sleeping in cars is NOT permitted. If you are NOT staying with us, there is a charge of $5 for each use of the showers, filling water tanks, or using the dump point.
