Description

Bush camping is permitted at Grimston Point (boat in) only. Camping permits are required and fees apply. Campsites are suitable for: tent camping only. Campsite surface: Sand. Facilities: Pit toilet. Open fires: Prohibited. Fuel stoves are recommended. Generators: Not allowed, except for medical reasons (with the departments permission). Mobile phone coverage: Generally available on the beach or on the ridgeline southeast of the camping area; satellite phones and marine radios can also be used. Be aware of Marine Stingers, especially between October to May.
