Welcome to Eton, a little country town based a short 20 minute drive, on the outskirts of Mackay. Eton is a small country town, with general store, post office, an array of small local businesses, park, playground, sporting facilities and the best pub in the scrub. Kick back and relax, let time stand still and enjoy our country hospitality, the locals are friendly, the food is good and the beers are cold. Eton Hotel offers FREE camping to all patrons, pull up a stool and enjoy the good family atmosphere this country pub offers. Please report to the main bar of the pub on arrival and show us your support by having a feed and a coldie. Patrons are welcome to use also the in house shower during opening hours or utilise either of the 2 amenity blocks that have 24hr toilet & shower access (psst one is brand spanking new ). Eton Hotel hosts LIVE MUSIC every Saturday night, raffles on Friday and Saturday nights which support our local community, and a great atmosphere that is second to none. Call in and say hello to the locals. There is a great little creek running behind the pub's camping area, take the opportunity to enjoy a walk, stop and see platypus daily or take the chance to catch a fresh water barramundi.
