Description

Picnic or camp beside Pandanus Creek at Jaxut camping area. Grassy, shady camp sites, picnic tables, a toilet and fireplaces are provided. Take firewood and drinking water. Creek flow is seasonal. Camping permits are required and fees apply. A tag with your booking number must be displayed at your camp site. Jaxut camping area is set beside the creek is an open grassy area to set up camp. Drive into the camping area and park beside your chosen camp site. Fire rings, picnic tables and a unisex composting toilet are available at the site. The camping area is located 200m past the old forest station site and can be reached by conventional vehicles, camper trailers and caravans in dry weather; 4WD recommended. Camping is in an open area without separately defined sites. Sites are unpowered and suitable for tent camping beside your car; camper trailers and caravans. Facilities include composting toilet, picnic tables and communal fire rings. Open fires are allowed in fire rings only (except when fire bans apply). Fuel stoves are recommended. Bring your own clean, milled timber. Generator use is permitted.
