Lakeside Camp - Hipcamp

Campground

Description

The property has a mix of open flat grassed areas surrounded by gum trees. Lakeside is a large, naturally occurring waterhole where you can fish, kayak and swim. Beside the water's edge you may see cattle and horses roaming freely in area. There is plenty of wildlife in trees. This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water supply. Woowoonga National Park and Wongi National Park are located close by, which are home to various wildlife including little red flying foxes, yellow-bellied gliders, sugar gliders, bandicoots, pademelons and wallabies. Wongi is also well known for its wetlands and waterholes. Dogs welcome.
