Description

Nicholson River Camp is a small bush camp on the bank of the Nicholson River. There are no facilities. You must be self contained and take all rubbish with you. Room for two or three vans. Patchy Telstra reception, 24 hour limit. From the west the entrance is 800m on the left on the Doomadgee-Burketown Rd, after the Alternate Savannah Way turn off. From the east, look out for a well formed bush track on your right. There are no other tracks so if you see it you're there. Track in conditions could vary.
