Description

Free bush camping near Lock 7, where the Rufus River meets the Murray River. There are no facilities. Campers must be self-sufficient. There are no toilet facilities at this site. If you do not have your own toilet, bury human waste at least 100m from tracks and water bodies. Bury toilet paper or bag and dispose of in a bin once you leave the site. Minimise the use of firewood, do not cut standing trees, thoroughly extinguish fire before leaving. To reach this site turn off 100 m East of the Outlet Regulator at Lake Victoria, 3 km to Lock 7. Note: The road to Lake Victoria from Wentworth and Renmark is mostly unsealed and remote. Please prepare for this journey.
