Enjoy your experience! ----- The Great Sandy National Park is home to Double Island Point, a scenic headland offering mesmerising views and breathtaking scenery. Known for its ideal beach conditions, a good surf break, and a place to go four-wheel driving, it is by far one of Queensland's most sought after locations. This 50-min scenic helicopter flight will afford you the best views and take you places that would otherwise be inaccessible. Just two kilometres north of Double Island Point is a set of four volcanic pinnacles called Wolf Rock. The Queensland Government considers Wolf Rock to be a protected aggregation site for the incredible Grey Nurse Shark. Due to its location, it can be hard to see, but from a helicopter, you will have no problems. You may even see scuba divers below! The coastline between Noosa and Double Island Point is filled with amazing marine life such as manta rays, dolphins, whales, sharks, and turtles, so make sure to bring your camera. The journey home will take you over the Noosa Everglades, a 74-kilometre tropical wetland that boasts over 40% of the country's bird species. Finally, you'll also pass over Boreen Point and see Noosa National Park, including Hell's Gates, Dolphin Point and the mouth of the Noosa River. While the flight is 50 minutes, allow 1 hr 30 mins for the full experience.
