Beginning with complimentary transport from Nelly Bay Ferry Terminal in the morning, your friendly guide will offer expert insights into the history, flora, fauna, koalas, wallabies and marine wildlife you may spot along your way. Your first stops are Cockle Bay and Picnic Bay. Make sure to stop to take a picture at the stunning Rocky Bay Beach lookout on your way. Stroll along the Picnic Bay jetty + check in at the museum and craft shop to uncover more fascinating stories of the early settlers and early inhabitants. Retracing your steps up to Nelly Bay will give you breathtaking views of the Coral Sea atop Arcadia Hill. Next you'll get the chance to get up close and personal with Allied Rock Wallabies who live amongst the incredible rock formations at Geoffrey Bay. Fun Fact: These wallabies are found only in Northern Queensland between Townsville and the Burdekin River. Descend into an old farming precinct before enjoying an hour of free time at Horseshoe Bay, where you can indulge in a variety of delicious food and take a refreshing swim in the safe swimming enclosure. From June to September, you can visit the Butterfly Forest for a short bushwalk, an experience not to be missed.
