Description

Hasties Swamp National Park is 4 km south of Atherton on the AthertonHerberton Road. Turn left into Hastie Road and then right into Koci Road. The bird hide is 1.3 km along this well-formed, gravel road. Hasties Swamp is a large seasonal wetland renowned for its diverse range of resident and migratory birds. Over 220 species have been identified and a large bird hide, with informative identification signs, offers excellent waterbird viewing opportunities. The toilets and lower floor of the bird hide are wheelchair accessible. Domestic animals are not permitted in Hasties Swamp National Park. Camping is not permitted in Hasties Swamp National Park.
