Description

The Thargomindah Artesian Hydro Power Plant is believed to be the oldest, working unit in Australia, and possibly the world! Watch the holographic ghost tell you what it was like back in the day. There is an Old Jail, Old Hospital and Hydro Power Plant tour which costs $5 pp for each separate tour or get the full package for only $12.50pp. All tours are fully automated for use with a swipe card so you can visit at your own leisure. Swipe cards can be obatained from the Thargomindah Visitor Centre. No camping or overnight parking.
