Description

Please be aware of restricted areas due to safety issues. Map is available on weblink https://parks.des.qld.gov.au/parks/carnarvon-gorge/pdf/balooncave-track-raa.pdf Rock slopes and cliffs are unstable and serious injury or death could result from climbing them. Visitors must remain on the formed track. A restricted access area has been declared from the eastern edge of the car park to Mickey Creek, as shown on map. Entry to the restricted access area is prohibited without a permit or written approval. Signed side gorge near end of trach is worth a look
