Description

Car parking area on Hannam Street, for walking trails to the lookout and to the Mount Cook Summit. The Mount Cook Summit Trail is a strenuous climb to the summit of Mount Cook offering fantastic views over the Great Barrier Reef. The steepest section is the last few hundred metres to the summit. Distance: 6 kilometres return. No camping or overnight parking.
