Description

364M Mount Tibrogargan summit route. Allow: 3 to 4hr. Allow enough time to complete your climb in daylight. Start early in the day to avoid the heat. This is a steep climb, requiring high fitness levels and rock scrambling skills. Follow the Tibrogargan circuit 1km to the beginning of this route, on the right just past the Mountain View lookout. The first section of summit route has very loose and unstable rock until you reach the No waiting zone. The route then continues up a near vertical rockface to the summit364m above sea level. Never climb in wet conditions or if it is likely to rainwet rocks are dangerously slippery. There are picnic tables and toilets at Tibrogargan trailhead (beside the car park) Domestic animals are not permitted in Glass House Mountains National Park.
