Description

This is a free point of interest. This was a hotel (Espanol Hotel) that is no longer operating. The doors are open and you can look around the hotel. Some of the floor boards are broken and rotted so watch where you put your feet! The memorabilia is still there from the hotel days. Please don't take any of it. Leave for everybody to enjoy. Providing you bring your own, have a beer or two and imagine what it was like in its heyday. Lappa train station is just outside. The Savannahlander departs Cairns once a week, stopping at Lappa Junction. This is also the start of a road to Mt.
