Raspberry Falls Track, Mount Fox, Queensland.

Description

Raspberry Falls is a terraced waterfall tumbling eastwards over the Sea View Range. The site is located in the Girringun National Park and is listed as a World Heritage Area. Access is gained via the Oak Hill Road and then eastwards along the unmarked Western Raspberry Break (4WD recommended) for 1.5 km. This is the start of the walking track to the falls. The first 1 km walk is along a poorly maintained track, under and over fallen timber, before reaching Raspberry Creek. Proceed downstream on the left hand side of the stream for approximately 250 m where the track disappears. The remainder of the walk to the falls requires wading through the creek, up to 0.5 m deep. The track is probably considered to be Grade 4 in difficulty.
